The Hérisson+® adjustment splices are specifically designed to compensate for both:
- The variable distances between ends of rebars to be assembled,
- The mismatch between the threads of the same bars.

The Hérisson® coupler has successfully passed the low cycle fatigue tests as per ISO 15835 standard, which assesses the behaviour of the rebar in medium (S1) and violent (S2) seismic conditions via a series of tension/compression cycles.
The low elongation values obtained in S1 and transient elongation in S2, ensure the resistance of the coupler in the event of an earthquake.
